The Guden Hinge of the Week - Lift-Off Hinges

Lift-off hinges, slip hinges, loose joint hinges, take-apart hinges. These are all names for a 2-piece male and female hinge set.
Lift-off hinges are often purchased by customers in mating pairs of a male and a female. A male slip hinge has a pin and a female is simply curled to accept the diameter of the male pin.

Male and female hinges are sold separately as not all applications require them to be a set. You may choose to buy the male with holes and the female with no holes or maybe you need to buy a right male and a left female to create a "reverse assemble" effect. eleifend tincidunt quam diam ac mi.

If one of our large variety of stock sizes doesn't meet your requirements, we can also supply a custom hinge. Different materials, thicknesses and pin diameters are available as well as holes, countersinks, leaf bends, forms, swages or offsets.
